|||Sorry, should rephrase that,
Is there any way of exporting a diagram into something like Visio,
or even a .bmp/.jpg format so it can be held externally.

Thank you for using the newsgroup and it is my pleasure to help you with
your issue.
Based on my knowledge, there is no method to export the diagrams to export
the diagram as a viso file or pictures such as .bmp and .gif ( print screen
may not be the case).
If you still have questions ,please fee free to post here and I am ready to
help!

So long as the keys and relationships are set up properly this will reflect
in the visio diagram, which is nice....

|||Hi Kevin
Thank you for using the newsgroup!
I am glad that you have found a method to get the diagram. My answer just
mean from the SQL Server side, there is no method for you to EXPORT the
diagrams, the VISO2000 could importing the diagram of many databases
including SQL Server and it is really an exciting feather. For VISO2000,
there are many other exiting feathers for your development and you could
get more information for our related newsgroup:
http://support.microsoft.com/newsgr...&NewsGroup=micr
osoft.public.visio.developer.diagrams
or
news:microsoft.public.visio.developer.diagrams
Our engineer there will provide you more information in that newsgroup!
Thanks again.
Best regards

applications but direct export of the Diagram from SQL server is not
possible. In the past I have used screen shot and created a
presentation and that was possible because it was a small database.
Erwin/AllFusion is most popular and that is what I use because of its
functionality beyond being pretty like Visio, but it is expensive. If
you have access to VS or Access you should be also able to create
Diagram from it.
