Exporting in different Formats

Is there a way to hide the address bar, while exporting the reports to PDF or
Excel. Currently when i click export it opens up a new window with the
address bar containing the whole URL including the parameters i am passing.It is possible when you write your custom code, using web services. You gan
then render the page to any format, without having to show the page..
