How I can export only a portion of report? For example can I export only
first 15 pages of a report?

SamuelUsing URL access, you can do this only in PDF by appending
rs:Format=PDF&rc:StartPage=1&rc:EndPage=15 to the report URL.

Exported PDF contains Extra Pages
Hi guys!
When displaying report using a ReportViewer, the single page displayed is just fine. An image at the left side, at table of information at the right. However, when exported to pdf, the image and the table is rendered on separate individual pages.
Is there anyway to modify this behaviour?

Haven't done that yet but I would like to ask, why do you think the report's width thats causing this behaviour? I'm still new to Reporting Services... =)

Export to PDF/TIFF
When I try to export to PDF or TIFF the report seems to give me 1 page then
2 pages only containing the page header and page footer then the next page
followed by 2 pages with only header and footer and so forth.
We have just installed SP1 which did not fix this problem.
Another issue not fixed by SP1 is that we use a specific font which is
installed on both server and client that shows as a different font on the
PDF export however is fine on every other export.
Any ideas?

Yes it is a true type font. My conmpay have their logo as a font but =once
exported to PDF it shows as a normal font. Where as it comes up ok in =eg
Excel.
From the Document Properties in Acrobat Reader it says
Type: True Type
Encoding: Ansi
Actual Font: Adibe Sans MM
In the attached file is how it looks once exported to pdf and how is =looks
before export.

Export to pdf with Sub Reports and Blank Pages
Hi,
I need help big-time!
I'm trying to export a report with 2 sub-reports to pdf format.
Using: RS2005
Adobe 7.0,
Font is Courier-New and it's installed on the Server.
There are no headers or footers in any of the three reports.
The report looks fine on the "Preview Tab", for the main and the two sub
reports.
The .pdf prints the following:
the main report shows up correctly
(an un-wanted blank page)
the 1st sub-report
(another un-wanted blank page)
the 2nd sub-report
(another un-wanted blank page)
How do I get rid of these blank pages?
All three reports are set to the following:
Body is set to 8.5 X 11
Margins - Top/Bottom/Left/Right are all set to Zero.
All rectangeles,lists, or Tables are set to 8.5 X 10.875 OR Less.
I've made sure that there are no "Page Break" textboxes checked in any of
the 3 reports.
Asked this same question before but haven't received an answer from 10/6/06
and still stuck!!!

Export to PDF problem.
I have a report that is to be exported to PDF when it is run. However, this report can have about 180 pages if certain combinations of parameters are supplied (Yes I know, but the spec from the client wants it to show so much data). Now, when the report is this big and they try to export it to PDF, ReportServer will either just hang or crash with an error without even creating the PDF. The report consists of about 4 subreports, one of which calls subreports of its own, which then calls its own subreports (it goes on with this for about 5 levels worth of data). I think this could be a limitation of SSRS, but does anyone maybe know of a way around it? The other developers seem to think it would be a solution to re-design the report from scratch without all the sub-reports, but this would take at least a week and the client needs it back ASAP.

landscape report but the body initial was smaller than the page. Now I've
done it more smaller and it's working.

Export to PDF file
How do we ensure that the exported PDF file has always same number of pages
as that of the HTML report. We are having an issue with number of pages in
the exported PDF file, as they are almost double that of HTML number of
pages. I would like to know, if any one has encountered the similar issue?Since the PDF is a different renderer, you are not likely to get the same
results in # of pages, expecially if you are using any dynamic visibility.
The best results you are likely to get will be when all pages are well
within the page boundaries and you are not dynamically setting any
visibility attributes..

Export to Excel Problem..! URGENT
Hi All,
I'm facing one problem when I'm exporting my report to excel. I have a
report with 200 pages and 120 columns. When I'm exporting that report, After
waiting for some time (I think its around 3 min) its asking windows challenge
box for my user credentials, even after giving the correct credentials also
its saying that "You are not authorized to view this page". Some times its
giving a different error like "ASP.Net" yellow page error. But for the small
reports its working fine.
Can any one help me out on this issue. Early replies will highly appreciated.

be set, manually time how long it takes to get the log on prompt. Find this
number in the settings, then raise it. IIS timeout, web.config?,
machine.config? , report server setting, sql timeout, web service timeout, on
so on......

long, and it craps out. Up your IIS timeout and you are good to go.

Export SQL database Tables into HTML page
Hello,
I just want to know how can I create a SSIS package to export a few distinct tables into distinct HTML pages.
If anyone can help.

Hi, are you looking for how to get distinct tables or the acutal HTML ouput? Is the idea that each table ends up as an HTML file with the data formatted with the proper tags of an HTML table?
For walking through the table list you may want to explore using a ForEach loop with a SMO enumerator to cylce through the tables. There is not built in feature/object for generating HTML though you may want to consider a script component, perhaps several, one as a transform and one as a custom destination.

Well, seams to me that export to HTML from Integration Services isn't a easy task... In my first aproach, I try using a query "Select * from table FOR XML AUTO" with output to a Flat destination file... I have some problems with types conversion... What I really wants is put each table content in a HTML file (or XML), and send all the files (ftp) to a specific site...
