Exporting a RS 2005 report into a PDF file?

Hello!

I was able to export a report in RS 2005 into a .PDF file but since it is a wide report some of it got cut off in a PDF file. Is there a way to display the whole width of my report in PDF without cutting this off?

Thanks,

To be more specific, I would like to have my .pdf in landscape view after exporting to a .pdf file.

Thanks,

|||You can set the page size in Report->Properties->Layout. For landscape you would just swap the width and height of the papersize. For example, Letter is Width: 8.5in Height: 11in. To make this landscape, you would swap these values to be Width: 11in Height: 8.5in|||

That's exactly what I need to know.

Thanks a lot for your assistance.

Export to PDF Page Settings

Hi all
I have made a report that is massively to wide to fix into an A4 PDF
when it is exported from the report server. Is there a way I can make
the layout of the PDF landscape and/or tell the report server to
shrink everything to fit the page?
An example of what to do would really help if possible
Thanks for any help you can give me on this
RichardHi, I had this same problem. This is what I did to fix it..go to Report -
Report Properties - and play with the page width and page height. I think I
changed the width to 12 and height to 8.5, it displayed pdf as landscape.
Try 'Page Width' functionality to view the report, might help.

Export to PDF

I have a wide report and i want to export it to PDF in lanscape mode. How can i do that? Setting page layout in ReportViewer control has no effect on generated PDF document - it is always in portrait mode.

Check out Brian Welcker's blog entry on the topic:
