Hi,
I need help big-time!
I'm trying to export a report with 2 sub-reports to pdf format.
Using: RS2005
Adobe 7.0,
Font is Courier-New and it's installed on the Server.
There are no headers or footers in any of the three reports.
The report looks fine on the "Preview Tab", for the main and the two sub
reports.
The .pdf prints the following:
the main report shows up correctly
(an un-wanted blank page)
the 1st sub-report
(another un-wanted blank page)
the 2nd sub-report
(another un-wanted blank page)
How do I get rid of these blank pages?
All three reports are set to the following:
Body is set to 8.5 X 11
Margins - Top/Bottom/Left/Right are all set to Zero.
All rectangeles, lists, or Tables are set to 8.5 X 10.875 OR Less.
I've made sure that there are no "Page Break" textboxes checked in any of
the 3 reports.
Asked this same question before but haven't received an answer from 10/6/06
and still stuck!!!
Can anyone help with this, please?
I've been at this for hours!have you tried fiddling with 'cangrow' and 'canshrink' or whatever
these properties are called in Microsofts
'Reporting-Platform-of-the-Month-2006'?

Export to Excel 2007
Hello Everyone,
Is there any way in RS2005 to export to Excel 2007 format ?
The reason I'm asking is that we have a report that can potentially have more than 256 columns but for now, there is no way of directly importing to excel 2003 (.xls).
Is microsoft going to come out with an improvement to RS2005 or is there already a way to export to Excel 2007 to bypass the 256 column limit?
Regards,
Joseph
Reporting Services 2008 should have this functionality I would think.
In the meantime, you could try to use Softartisians OfficeWriter for your issue.
cheers,
Andrew
